Q: Any chance you could change your mind again?

No chance.......especially after they had to disconnect their home phone after the bombardment of calls they received from MSU folks when he switched to LSU.

.....going to MSU either. I may not have gone to LSU though. I'd probably find another program where I have a better chance to start, but I'd make sure they have an offensive system that's been proven to work.

MSU is, to be blunt, the last place any top QB recruit should think about going to, at least until we prove we can put a competent offense on the field.

Going to a low end SEC perennial loser is terrible for your NFL draft prognosis.

Signed,
Eli Manning

p.s. Where do you think a QB would get the most recognition, being really good on a historically bad offense or sitting on the bench behind some other people at a bigger school for 2-3 years?

but if someone like Matt Flynn had been the savior for a historically bad offense he would have been drafted higher than 209th, say....1st like Eli was.

Obviously being a medicore QB on a really good team (see Matt Leinert) can get you in the NFL too, even if it's a 3rd string position behind another rookie and a guy who has played 1 game as a started. I just personally believe that a QB who can completely turn around a program would turn more heads and get tons more media attention.

I have seen Garrett and if he believes Miles about traveling with the big squad, well......

I'm looking at 2 years in the "turd herd'" Each week apeing Appalachia State, Ms State the next...Garrett will be calling Delta State, Jacksonville State, Troy, etc....looking for a spring semester transfer ride. That or he becomes a TE or special teams screamer before he can put on a jersey with a "teen" number on it.

I can't help but be happy with who we have signed at QB. I just don't see Garrett getting it done at State.

Big, tall, fast, talented and smart. Buy hey...we didn't need a QB that year, we had Fur Boy. He was definitely better than Henig. Better than Carroll? We'll never know, cause now he's discovered beer, women and Sigma Chi, not necessarily in that order.

You tell him Coach.

Sincerely,

Brett Farve and Steve McNair (Two proud Mississippians who made it to the NFL based on their own merits...and started for many years)

we are bitching about Croom not signing a guy that is currently starring for the Sigma Chi intramural team.
