My question for Jans. If he makes the lay up and go on to win they are?
I mean, at some point you are what your record says you are. We are a good team but not a very good team. I think we've got the potential to be a top ten team, but based on how we've played so far, we are competitive with them but not quite there.

Realistically, I think there are probably a handful of really good teams, and then outside of those, there's not much difference going out to the 15ish range.

We are a good team that has a chance to beat a great team if we are hot.

So glad that we are arguing about tourney seeding and ranking instead of where things have been. We all think we should find a way to the sweet 16 or final 4 this year. What a nice problem to have

Agree with this.
We’ve been ranked basically all season and are a lock for the tournament.
Bitching about seeding is still aggravating because of how bad we’ve been the last few years.
Rather ***** about seeding than bubble teams and play in games

For sure. It's fine to be frustrated after a loss, but people not enjoying this team probably aren't meant to be MSU basketball fans.

This is the first team in a while that I am actually watching consistently. It tried to watch Q's last year but really was just so out of the habit of caring about basketball that I still didn't watch much. This is the first time since Stansbury that I am actually looking to arrange my Saturdays and tuesday/wednesday nights around our schedule.

Before Jans got here, we had one NCAA tournament appearance in 14 years. We are historically one of the worst basketball programs in the SEC. My 16-year old daughter wasn’t born the last time we won an NCAA tournament game. So for Jans to have us debating whether we are a top 15 team or a top 30 team is pretty remarkable.

I'm still amazed we made the tournament in Jans first year.
Going into the year I didn’t even think that was an NIT roster. He squeezed every drop out of the orange he possibly could’ve. And we win a tourney game too if we don’t miss two point blank open shots at the buzzer against Pitt.
