Bc he gets to the tournament sometimes. Which is something they haven’t done a lot. Also just went to a sweet 16.
Maybe they are content with where they are rather than throwing money at something that they likely will never sustain any relevance in.
It could be a lot worse.
Lol 2018 is "just went to a sweet 16?" That was 6 years ago, and they've made the tourney exactly one time since then losing in the opening round...
I think this is exactly where their head is. Concentrate funds to the bread winner, football. If we were winning NC in football I would think the same way from a business stand point.
They had inexplicable loses this year, and with Hall gone this year what will they have next year? Paris is going to own in state recruiting. Please keep Brownell and let us over take them. We need to get a big from the portal for next year but otherwise I think we are in good shape, especially if Meechie stays for another year.
It sounds like you are ready for USC to become another KY in the SEC, a basketball school in a football conference. I guess being a power in men's basketball and being an "also ran" in football is better than puffing out our chest about what a power we are in women's basketball while being a mediocre football program.
That’s a heck of a leap from what Beaner was talking about vs your interpretation of. He was talking about Tater basketball falling off next year and how Lamont would own state recruiting. Had nothing to do with football in the least.
Yeah, this team was supposed to challenge for the ACC championship. They finish with Cuse and @ Wake. If they drop those I think there's a real chance they get left out, unless they have a strong finish in the ACCT. They're currently in a 5th place tie with Pitt and Wake. They're .5 game back from Cuse. They could end up 7th in the ACC.
It would be a shame for them to fall that badly, wouldn't it?
