no doubt. adding a guy like this helps out the rest of your line, because it makes teams double team him, leaving others free to get to the QB. This was a good get and badly needed get
As of right now, this defense looks formidable, that ain’t no joke. The question becomes, can you play that many transfers and win.

The DL has been addressed. I'm impressed overall. Still bear in mind being dominant at NIU or Coastal Carolina isn't the same as the SEC but I think they will be a big improvement over last year plus a lot of depth. Depth is a big deal too. We can keep them fresh
you need to pay attention to NFL rosters a lot of starters are from lower end schools.

Roster size 85 or 105 ? Either way. 45-50 new players mean something. I ain’t sure what it means but… it means something dammit. Better? Worse? I do not know but this different for everybody!
This is a good get. A lot of teams have been able to turn it around with big portal hauls. Unfortunately, even vastly improving tthe roster will likely see us struggling to reach 5-6 wins. I wish our schedule wasn't so brutal again next year.
Dumb comment. Yes there are quite a few guys in the NFL from small schools. What I said is accurate and it's ridiculous to argue the point. I do think Whitson is a great get. So is the dude from NIU. Still two different levels of competition. I hope they transition but they will be going against much better guards and tackles than they were last year
I stopped counting at 337 players in the NFL from the G5 level. I don’t know how many are starters, but that’s a lot of players by any metric.No offense, but I think that’s baloney.
