If I recall correctly, after Cohen left, Thunder and Lightning dispelled the whole inappropriate relationship angle and said it had more to do that Starkville wasn’t big enough for both Vic and Cohen’s egos.

Why are we still talking about this? I get that this is a message board open for most any discussion but if some super sleuth finally cracks the Schaefer case are we suddenly going to become a top five team or something? If there was ever a beating the dead horse situation that accomplishes nothing, this is it. Yet I can’t stop reading because some little dark corner of my mind thinks there is going to be pictures. There’s never going to be pictures is there?

Yea them T&L boys are university stoogies like rosebowl…the cigar boys know what really happened and it’s what’s been said

Maybe the off the court stuff did happen but let’s just be real…it’s Texas. 99.999% of coaches make that move.
The women’s basketball program was losing lots of money every year. Vic wanted even more money spent on his program. Cohen said no. Vic went somewhere that would give him all the things he wants in his program, regardless of cost.
