Loved seeing the emotions from both Clemson and USC. A little bit over the top from both teams at times (bag flip by Clemson and our last pitcher skipping etc on the mound). No beaning in retaliation. I wish MLB players were able tp show their personality w/o catching one in the ear hole at the next at bat.

I agree. The "unwritten rules" in MLB are stupid (and probably why they aren't written). If you don't want someone celebrating, then don't give up a homer to him.
Exactly what happened yesterday! Our guy was skipping around etc. His face said it all when Clemson hit the game wimner.
I believe that the dignity that typified the professional game throughout most of its history was something which was sad to lose, and that the immortal greats of the game who practiced it would agree. I remember hearing Henry Aaron talking about playing the game "the right way". That meant something. It meant something because of the man saying it.
