Someone mentioned the AL comeback (Timmy Bowers) in another post. Which is the greatest comeback in recent times? @OM early 90's (Doug Hartsfield)?, Florida at Home late 90's (D. Wilson)?

Has to be the UF game in 1995. Down 16 with under 16 to go. We end up winning 70-47 and finish on a 25-1 run (with a Brian Price 3 thrown in).

That comeback against Kentucky was incredible. We were dead in that game, and didn't tie until the last seconds when Mario hit that 3 from the top of the key. The 04 comeback was huge because of its importance. That win gave us the outright SEC title.

in MSU sports history. Top 5, easily. TImmy Bowers willing us to victory. I still get chills listening to that audio and remembering watching it on TV. I hate you for being there. I remember how many State fans made their way into Coleman for that one and how loud they (ya'll) were when it was over.

Amazing come back led by Timmy Bowers. Best game that I have ever witnessed.

Another game that I was in attendance for was when Zimmerman took the inbounds pass and drove it straight to the hoop to beat the rebs in oxford. It was awesome.

Best game I've been to in the Hump. We were down huge. I think it was like 30-8 at one point. Mario Austin scored 25 points in the second half and hit a three at the buzzer to send it to OT. The game was over. That three Mario hit is on a few highlight reels. It's the one where he turns around and runs down the court with a look on his face like "What the hell did I just do?"

Of course the game two years later on UK's next trip was probably the most heartbreaking game I've seen at the Hump.

I was there for that one. Unbelieveable how loud it was. I want to say it was 25-2, and we just kept plugging away.

This was about the same spot Timmy scored from.

Obligatory post-game crowd shot featuring the ref girls.

What a great day.

AA - still has the "There's No Place Like Bama" sign

We decided to go up there for the game with no tickets and hoped we could find some but all we could find were outrageous scalper tickets. So we start watching as much of the game as we can through the glass on the Tad Pad on the jumbotron. We noticed that we were next to a door that had a good ol Cobra security guard watching the door. Well he decides to walk up into the breezeway and watch the game instead of watching the door. Meanwhile a group of girls come walking by on the inside my buddy yells "OPEN THE DOOR OPEN THE DOOR" and they do and about 20 of us go running in. We stood in a brreze way and watched the whole thing. What an awesome game.

Down 16 at half. Does anybody remember the home LSU game in 01 or 02 when we were up 10 with 1:00 left in the game and they got it to 1 point with around 5 seconds - I think we won by 3- I About broke that 20 inch Zenith

thanks for the 45 minute wait while they slaughtered more hogs to replenish the rib supply.

has never been louder than it was during OT at that 04 @ Bama game. I was a Keesler for a military class and drove up with my girlfriend for a weekend break in T-town. That game was freaking freak-freak awesome. Ate at some restaurant serving killer white BBQ chicken that night, and I'm pretty sure we kept the entire floor of our hotel up that night for about 5 minutes to cap it off.

We dominated that whole game and were up by I think 12 with less than a minute left. Then LSU kept hitting crazy threes and we couldn't make a free throw. They actually had a shot to tie in the final seconds but missed and we held on to win by three.

...I have never had good eatins at the one in Tuscaloosa. Yet the one in Birmingham behind UAB is awesome almost every time.

We were getting on Fitch and Camara pretty good in the pre-game and Fitch actually looked at us and said, "we're gonna beat you bitches by 30." At half time, he looked like a wise man.

Z's baseline drive and dunk was one of the most awesome things I've ever seen.

Simply incredible and I was there to witness it.

Best basketball game ive been to or watched. Simply fantastic.

It was an amazing day. The caravan heading over to Bear Bryantville, the drinking beforehand, the slow play that put us down in the first half, the spit-screaming that one of my buddies did during our bad play, the angry fans that were getting wet from his inability to control his saliva, the INCREDIBLE comeback, and spending the rest of the day and night partying it up in Bryantville.

Best game ever.
