As an Ole Miss alumnus and fan, I want to express my deep and sincere sorrow over the passing of Sam Westmoreland to all Mississippi State fans and to the Westmoreland family. We are grieving with you and praying for you. Such matters transcend rivalries and competition. We stand with you in regretting and lamenting a tragedy like this. God bless all of you.
