Neil Price is really dang good at his job.
Yes he is. Too bad he has to follow Jack and Jim in an era when radio doesn't mean as much as it used to. When we beat #1 Bama in 1980 that game wasn't on TV. That would be unthinkable now but it was par for the course back then. For most of us alive back then, if we aren't liars, JACK was why we were there. Listening to Jack during a game that actually MEANT something, was just special. It was just so rare, and so special, I was a Senior in high school and I was glued to every word Jack said. My Dad, an old MSU guy if there ever was one, remained skeptical till AFTER he confirmed it by other means than me and my take on Jack's call. You youngsters just don't know what it was like back then, and hopefully you never will. Today is good, it really is.

Well said L4. I was 18 at the time and was at that game. Nothing bettern being there with Jack calling it. Many people today still don't know there was never a fumble on the last play as the NG knocked the ball from Kent's hand prior to the snap and the line judges caught it. Oh, and BTW DS. Top Notch Blood Pressure Raising Video. Just don't get any bettern dat.

Neil is good at play-by-play but I cannot stand his voice. When he gets excited I have to turn the volume way down because of how shrill he sounds. Fortunately radio isn’t the primary way to keep up with away games these days.

This should dispel any illusions that Jimbo had about Forbes being offside. I can’t stand him and his shoulda-coulda-woulda delusions. He is a fraud and that delusional fan base deserves him. They think they are championship program in waiting. Listening to them cry into their coin purse during their postgame shows is pure schadenfreude. It’s all stars this, and money that, it’s pathetic.

Forbes with quite a day yesterday. 2 picks, one for 6 and then the blocked FG. I'm sure his crew from Grenada were jumping in the stands yesterday!
Decam had a helluva day yesterday too. He was bringing the lumber. That was the best our defense has played in three years. It was a natural asswhipping.

Shutting out a ranked SEC team for the 1st half needs more attention IMO.

When can you remember our team making a big play like this that instantly and absolutely turned a big ball game in such a wild and decisive play? I may be forgetting a lot but it's been a while since we had such a play with such great effort that resulted in a special touchdown that I will remember for a long time.

I don't know if I've ever seen a better video than this and I can't seem to keep watching it over and over. "He's into the open field!!! , Go Decam GO!!! Touchdown!! Touchdown!!! Touchdown!!!". Excellent Ground Level Video that really shows a good view of how freakishly athletic these guys are. Our new dude is doing a great job filling Jack's Shoes. Our players jostling each other at the end fighting to give Decam some love was awesome.

Poor Attempt at Scorched Earth Tactics as all roads, bridges and infrastructure remain in good shape and the troops are still positive and happy. If your juices weren't pumping as Neil was going crazy, then you ain't got a STATE Pulse.
