A friend of mine teaches at Southside Middle school in Florence and helped coach on the football team there back when LaNorris was playing. He'd messaged me years ago that they had a player who was probably headed to D1, but I didn't pay much attention at the time. Kicker is, my friend is the most fanatical, maniacal Clemson fan you'd ever meet. If he wasn't my friend, we wouldn't be friends b/c he's that obnoxious about Clemson. LaNorris was back visiting yesterday and my friend posted a pic of the two of them together, with LaNorris proudly rocking a Gamecock shirt. I said it would be oh so sweet if he helped coach a player who one day leads USC to a win over Clemson. I want that to happen so bad, I'm going to go ahead and draft some "rub it in" text messages to save to my phone.
