I'd love to see us lock down the state again. With UGA, Tennessee, and Clemson all among the ranks of the top 10, we needed these last couple of wins more than ever to show the SC kids that they can find everything they want in Columbia.
Yep. Beamer has done a great job using it. Often overlooked fact.
I'm still a bit mystified why we are not doing better in Charlotte and Western NC...Tennessee is now back on the scene with several commits from NC. After UNC's loss to NCSU, folks on their sites are complaining that with what Beamer and Huepel are doing, it's not going to go well for UNC...I just wish Virginia Tech would protect the Tidewater area from UNC...
They will. Don't know how many more slots are available this year. Checking the various rankings, we are 15-17th, which is good, as that gives you a chance, with good coaching, to beat anyone. But, I believe that dividends, from this season, will really come through in the next recruiting cycle. I believe there will be a real shot at a Top 10 class next year.
