So we are in Omaha and planning to attend a game.

any tips on where and how to best get tickets?

I heard the box office sells some in the mornings day off. However I called there this morning and was told that will only be SRO seats.

We need 4 with two small kids so thinking I may have to bite the bullet and buy through Ticketmaster.

There will be tickets outside. Not sure what the scalping laws are. Even SRO is good, although I know the kiddos will get tired.

One other thing: Take the family to the Henry Doorly World Zoo. Awesome!

Yes. We are goin to the zoo. Probably tomorrow.

I wasn’t sure if there was much selling outside still since most everything is digital now.

I am hearing that stubhub etc online the prices start dropping quickly right before game time.

Not sure but that’s what I’m reading on Reddit.

I went 2011 and 2012. Buying 4 could present issue, but you could find some outside. I ran into some locals selling face value. The line is long for SRO, but our seats were in left field. No standing, but this may have changed since I went. The local businesses and people are awesome towards the fans. Have a blast you and family!

So we went to the game today. First off it was a great experience and a solid production was put on by Omaha.

as for tickets. It does seem to vary by who’s playing as to how many tickets there are and what the prices are.

with that said the general trend seems to be wait and wait and wait till close to game time as long as you still see a good number of tickets available, then the prices will drop.

we could have saved another 10-15 per ticket by waiting longer and I bought yesterday afternoon for todays game. Seemed like a lot of tickets remained for the UVA and uncarolina game even after the game started.

however for the McVols and criminols tonight it seemed like tickets were much higher a few days ago and remained high. Maybe a slight trend down but from a very expensive spot. And at first pitch there were maybe just a few sections with seats still available in ticket master whereas the early game there were unsold tickets in every section in the stadium and I mean a good many per section

example searching for 4 today at first pitch the early game there were prob 4 together in 90% of sections in the stadium. At first pitch for McVols and criminols at first pitch I’d say 5 sections had 4 together available overall and the same section we sat in for $30 a seat they wanted $150 a seat for set of 4 for the late game.

the fan fest was a blast for the kids.

We are debating going to a Sunday game but waiting till the last minute to buy seats as long as seats are available.

overall well done and a lot of fun. Still can’t believe they pitched to the holes best hitter.

I remember you posted last year about attending on condition that USC made it. and you were searching for camping areas.
