It seems regardless if it is college or pro......each team has at least one of these guys like Lamb. Pickens is always complaining and whining at Pitt. Adams at LV etc etc.

Dak needs to organize a "blanket party" with Lamb after practice tomorow.

Doesn’t matter. Dallas’ coaching staff and roster will be emptied out after this season.

Dak played poorly but made the game winning drive/play, which is all that matters.

Depleted defense played well to keep the struggling offense in the game.
“Played poorly”?

He, again, was the entire offense, per usual. QBR of 70, passer rating over 90, won the game at the end. Threw for 352 yards, 290 of those were to total scrubs all over the field. The guy making $34 million a year and sat out camp to get paid again did nothing. 23rd 4th quarter / OT game winning drive of his career. He averages about 3 of those per season, which is why he’s getting paid what he’s getting paid.

He was not perfect, but by no means did he play poorly , given the level of competition and what he had to work with (or lack thereof).

If you want to know what an NFL QB playing poorly and still winning actually looks like, go look at somebody like Sam Darnold. Threw for 179 yards on less than 50% completion percentage. QBR of 17ing 19.5 and passer rating of 50. Awful. He missed wide open WR’s all day. But he still got a W based on the Jets being totally inept and because of the Vikings having great defense and special teams.

I think Dak holds himself to a higher standard than he played tonight.

I'm not hating on him. I'm a huge Dak fan. Dallas was without players tonight, and Dak stepped up and delivered on the final drive. There's also plenty to clean up. Both can be true.

I’m sure he does too. But that doesn’t mean he is thinking he played like crap. He is probably hyperfocused on what he can do better, while at the same time confident and secure in his role in the victory.

Agree with this.

All those guys you mention, except for Love, have been in a Superbowl or won 3.
Yes, I know he has never won a Super Bowl. I wonder if he would have with some other team.

They explained in detail why I hated the Steelers so much. I grew up during the age of the "Steel Curtain." Last night, they were having a Pittsburgh Steelers lovefest. I was happy to watch the Steelers lose on the NBC National Steelers Holiday.

EXACTLY. These whiner Cowboy "fans" clamoring for Cooper Rush, or even worse Trey Lance are awful. Go look at the Panthers, Raiders, Browns, Dolphins (without Tua), Patriots, and Giants and pay special attention to their AWFUL QB lines week after week. THAT is what you end up with if you get rid of Dak.

They have surrounded him with clowns and he has to carry the team every game when CeeDee goes into pout mode and disappears after he makes 1 or 2 big catches. Jerral wants to be a running team and not have Dak pass 40-50 times per game yet he has signed pure TRASH at the RB position after letting Pollard walk. Dowdle is a fine 2 or 3, but not a 1. Zeke isn't even a 3rd down back at this point. And they signed Duece Vaughn as a favor to his daddy and the kid gets 1 touch per game.

Dak has earned every penny he has made and then some because he produces EVERY week and EVERY week he has to take the entire brunt of the criticism from his "fans".

Pretty meaningless comparison. Marino, Tarkenton, Jim Kelly & Warren Moon never won a Super Bowl. TrentvDilfer, Joe Flacco, Brad Johnson& Nick Foles have.
They all were in Superbowls. They all won a bunch of playoff games. Face it that Dak gets judged harshly due to Dallas lack of playoff success over the past decade.

Warren Moon never made a Super Bowl, and had a career playoff record of 3-7.

Which is the same thing that happened to Tony Romo…..except Romo was far worse. He only led 4 teams to the playoffs in 10 seasons. Dak has led 5 teams to the playoffs in 7 seasons that he has finished as the starter.

It’s just a recycled, lazy hot take. But even if you were to believe it for both of them….what’s the common denominator?

Cam Newton stood and watched when he had a similar opportunity.
A similar play pushed me off the KJ Costello bandwagon when he was our QB. The center snapped it early and the ball bounced off his chest onto the ground in front of him and he just stood there and watched linemen fight over it, even though he had ample opportunity to just fall on top of it.

Warren Moon won a few Grey Cups with the Edmonton Eskimos, but he never made it to the Super Bowl, or even a conference championship game. He retired with a 3-7 NFL playoff record.

I looked after I posted and Warren Moon was Dak before Dak. Very similar playoff record. However I thought they were hard on him because he was a black quarterback.
