Those of you that complain about people asking "who is State" when they see that on our helmets. Here it will be who the hell is that wearing skull and crossbones? It makes no statement about identifying Army whatsoever, that I'm aware if anyway

The difference is that some entities design things for their fans. Some design things for the 20 people in the athletic department.

The difference is Army is doing this option for one game. State did it as a permanent change. I believe it was goat along with others that put it best. State went and abandoned the branding from the most successful period in program history. Script State is not something the majority of the fan base is running out to stores to buy. Not to mention the branding had already been used by another MSU about 800 miles north.

There are better graphic designers out there submitting free ideas than exist at Adidas, Nike, Under Armour, etc.
