I’m seeing Loyola over Ohio State and VaTech over Texas.
After yesterday, I can see why we were more successful than I thought we would be this year. The Big Ten sucks. Maybe they can redeem themselves today, but I doubt it. As you say, Loyola will absolutely crush Ohio State.
We can only hope. I'm perfectly content with the rest of the BIG getting run over. After yesterday, I can see why we were more successful than I thought we would be this year. The Big Ten sucks. It didn’t help that they were 1-6 free-throws in overtime. What the heck is going on with John Calipari and Kentucky? St. Peter’s, really!!
Yale 33-46 Purdue at halftime. The Williams-Edy tandem is, wow, overwhelming. Edy is no stiff; he moves well and hits his free throws. Williams is really fundamentally sound too, a terrific passer.
With the disparity in professional level talent, depth and size it should have never gotten to that point. St. Peter’s proved that a fundamentally mature team has a chance to beat a very young star studded team.It didn’t help that they were 1-6 free-throws in overtime.
Yes, a totally dominant performanceLooks like I should have added Texas Tech to my final 8 list. Impressive.
Two overtimes two nights ago in Dayton and then they beat Alabama by double digits in San Diego.Notre Dame will advance. I did not see this coming.
This is a strange ND team ... they have beaten or played well against some good teams, but then fall flat against teams they should have beaten easily. Two overtimes two nights ago in Dayton and then they beat Alabama by double digits in San Diego.
IMHO, ND plays terrible defense. But Alabama wasted a lot of possessions and they were playing shorthanded after that kid got hurt. This is a strange ND team ... they have beaten or played well against some good teams, but then fall flat against teams they should have beaten easily.
The double ot made me go with bama. We'll see how their legs are in the next oneTwo overtimes two nights ago in Dayton and then they beat Alabama by double digits in San Diego.
No rhyme or reason to this tournament. The double ot made me go with bama. We'll see how their legs are in the next one
