1. Not a bad matchup in the bunch.
2. As I expected, the Auburn division gets a lot of love-- I expected most of the votes in Pool 2 to go in that direction and they did. Two of the four at-large berths (in addition to Cecil's Pool 2 win) come from there.
3. Doug Foster = SEC Western Division Basketball Champion. Receives less overall votes than Kevin O'Sullivan but gets the autobid.
4. Kevin O'Sullivan robbed of a bid by the Western Division Champion but Foster looks to be the stronger tournament participant anyway.
5. Forrest Moore may be the 1-seed but he definitely doesn't have a clear path to the finals.

If seeding were strictly by votes, Foster would have been an 8-seed facing Moore and everyone else would have moved up a seed & the tourney would have been like so:

Forrest Moore, as expected had a big preliminary round. I think he'll easily take care of Finebaum, who got in on name recognition.

Doug Foster is a stronger candidate than you might think - He was grouped with the Auburn folks so his vote total was not impressive. Straight up against Mike Slive, it wouldn't surprise me to see a Client vs. Lawyer matchup in the second round, which would pave the way for Forrest in the finals. Ironically, Mike Slive could beat Forrest Moore. Strange the way that works out. Slive won as a five seed last year, as you may recall.

Cecil and Cam just worked out. I think overall Cecil will be the biggest douchebag among these two - I thought about invoking a no division matchup in the first round rule, but decided against it.

CJ Johnson/Ole Miss Grad will be epic. There's a chance for Sudden Death Douche-Off here. I'm personally going Ole Miss Grad to the finals.
