I feel like a noticed a marked difference in his play in his first game with contacts, but it could have been a coincidence, and maybe just a product of gaining more game experience. He still has a ways to go with his pocket presence but seemed more comfortable against LSU than he had.
The rec spec logo was cool if he could have made it work, but with the speed of the college game, it just doesn't seem do-able. It had to limit his peripheral vision to some degree.
