Bo and Blake talk college football and the Bowl Season in the first hour of the show live in the BankPlus Studio. The guys recap the Christmas weekend, from football to family fun, and get set for a full week of college action. The guys talk NFL quarterbacks and the push to the playoffs as the regular season has just two weeks left. In the SEC Insider Hit, ESPN college football analyst Tom Luginbill joins the show on the Bell's Two Hearted Ale guest line talking college football bowl season. Tom gives his thoughts on the Liberty Bowl matchup between Mike Leach's current team, Mississippi State, and his first head coaching stop in Texas Tech. Tom breaks down the Sugar Bowl this weekend as Ole Miss takes on Baylor in the nightcap for New Year's Eve. Tom discusses the somewhat disappointing season for Clemson, who fell out of the CFP race early in the year, and why the quarterback room for the Tigers is different than it's been over the last decade. Tom talks about Dabo and his coaching dynamic in the new age of NIL deals and the transfer portal, and gives his opinion on the decision to promote both coordinators from within his coaching staff. Tom previews the College Football Playoff matchup between Georgia and Michigan in the Orange Bowl, which features two 80's-style offenses that will look to pound the rock against two talented defenses.
