TFrank and Nate discussion re DL did a nice job pointing out the keys here. Return from injury guys PJ and Adissa ability to be a full strength is key and much discussed. They were looking for Adissa to be key for the AKB replacement for QB pressure, but there are some other guys mentioned who might bring hope to that situation. Interestingly the concept that 3-Tech DT is not in bad shape and alot of players can help there. The ONE uncertainty seemed to be 1-Tech DT with PJ - they were less than optimistic we have no real solution there. If PJ is not really ready to go at a level to be effective for most of the season, how important do you see that impact?

Ellies should be a very solid contributor at that spot. We held Ohio State very well without PJ. Michigan did not kill us up the gut. Sparty has some success, but the secondary broke down late, which hurt us just as bad.

Illinois and Arkansas were the 2 teams that exploited no PJ. As of right now, only Minnesota looks to be such a run heavy team on the schedule so far. Maybe Auburn. None of them should outright try to play jumbo and run 90%.

Regardless, we have to build depth there. Time for Mulbah and perhaps an undersized Van Den Burg to get meaningful reps.
