Are you hearing it's definitely Cohen?

And if it is, I don't think we have to worry about either. I really believe Croom would not leave State and Cohen would not leave his alma mater.

...that Cohen had been offered and that GB wouldn't offer anyone until they'd already accepted.

But that's the last word I got and it was by text msg late.

If there is one guy that would not jump ship for the bigger and better job, he would be it. I actually believe he realizes who gave him his shot at 50 years old.

...but he probably also feels he lived up to his end of the bargain. If he wins enough to attract the attention of one of the big boys that can double his salary he'd be out of here like **** through a goose.

and Croom shows big success, you don't think he would go home to Bamer if they called?

Time heals wounds. Also, even after being passed up, Croom talks about Bama and the Bear to much to have put the place behind him. He would take Bama job if they didn't do something stupid with Saban or are looking down the barrell of probation again.

However, I don't think Cohen would leave us for anyone else.

I can't see Croom leaving for a school who passed him over once already. He's got way too much pride (the good pride).</p>

then I'll drive up there, pack his bags, and wish him well, because that'll mean he kicked some serious *** along the way!

Seriously, he'd have to have a few SECW championships and a BCS bowl appearance to live up to Bama's new found lofty standards.

Yeah but those standards are for outsiders. I don't think they would apply to one of their own winning 80 miles away.
