Does anyone else still use a handheld calculator? My trusty 30 year old HP 11-C (scientific) and 12-C (financial) are still going strong.

It just seems easier to me to use them instead of some phone app.
I was using my trusty HP 48GX until some of the screen pixels went haywire about 2 years ago.
Bought it in 1991 for what was then a lot of money.

Now I have a free emulator on my phone that looks exactly like the calculator

Nope, use my phone calculator on occasion.

I have a working TI-34 calculator (solar panel powered) that is about 25-30 years old, but I never use it.

I gave my TI-81 away about 15 years ago to my nephew. Anything more than simple multiplication and I use excel. I love spreadsheets.

On my first day in the Penn State MBA program in 1991, I bought an HP 12C at the campus bookstore. I'm still using it.

I remember a calculation on the computer where if you held it upside down it spelled BOOBLESS. In elementary school that was funnier than George Carlin.

PS: Anyone ever use an abacus?
