Does anyone think we might break out black helmets for the game Saturday?

Seriously tho, a lot of people get way to angry about uniform changes. I think they're fun, and people take **** too seriously. I wouldn't mind black helmets if they looked decent.
Can't go to the game, and i don't get ESPNU. Can't even watch online anymore, as the government has been shutting down tv station streaming sites like they're national 17ing security threats.
In both basketball and football, we are 1-3 when wearing black unis. I think they look great, but we never seem to win wearing them; except when we played Arky for that coveted 2seed in the SEC Tourney last year in B-ball, lol.
And for those who don't like the black uniforms, be glad that "we don't win/play well in those" because otherwise we would wear them all the time- see the white helmets after the snow bowl and Thursday night games after we beat Florida in 1992.
2 of those games were blowout losses to Bama and LSU football teams that were much better than us. We could have been wearing anything and lost. The third was the UK basketball team that we lost 2 heartbreakers to. You really think the jersey color mattered?
Nobody ever claims that we play better with alt unis, the whole point is that it's fun.

So why wear it in games that we could have worn our regular colors? You just made an argument to wear our regular colors since black has no impact on the game.Hump4Hoops said:
No, it is NOT fun to get beat wearing a gimmick outfit no matter what people claim. If you want to wear gimmick outfits do it against teams you can beat.....like we are doing Sat night.

is wearing is girlie unless they are hideous. I can understand the complaining about the Merlot and White uniforms of the Croom teams and then the pleasure with the decent looking uniforms of today.
But what is 1000x worse is trying to make the argument that it makes us play worse. I just assume everyone that talks that way has to wear their "Lucky Panties" to every game so we might win. Superstition is for people that suck to make them feel better when they suck, "If only I had worn my Lucky Panties."
