First, I am not obsessed with pitt. They are not our rival. o_O

Did dooz catch lightning in a bottle with Kenny Heisman (Be right back.) and clempson being down or has the tide turned in the acc? dabo has lost venables. Is this it for clempson?

Will dooz parlay a successful 2021 and use his charisma and pittā€™s facilities to boost his recruiting and turn pitt into a dynasty? Will dooz DOMINATE. THE. STATE. o_O and beyond? Are we screwed? (šŸ˜ž)

Is pitt it?

Don't want to be tar-and-feathered for this comment, but I'm not a Pitt hater. I watch their games and hope they win. Pitt had a good year, but they're not 11-2 without Kenny Pickett. Playing Patti and/or Bevelle would have resulted in a number of additional losses IMHO. Once Pickett is long gone and the (currently) 57th ranked 2022 recruiting class takes the field, Pitt is back where they started.

Clemson and Dabo are in trouble.....they have NO Offense Leaders on the Field like they have had in the past. DJ aint it....Clemson needs to rebound next year or they will not be their dominant selves like they have been last 6-7 years...Next years season will be interesting for them.

another team loaded with super seniors and a product of the extra year. The ACC while not the toughest conf was really down this year. this was a one off.

College football is QB driven. So many coaches have parlayed a good QB season into a bigger job where they fail. Last two Memphis coaches who went to VT and FSU, USF coach who had Quentin Flowers, Scott Frost at UCF, and on and on. It is evident that Pickett is is the best QB in Pitt history based on the stats. No way to replicate that production albeit in a weak conference. Those other guys were all likeable. Narduzzi comes across as a jerk most times. Wonder if he made keychains yet for the big win.

He said he loves the Pitt Panthers and collects key chains.
Not that nuts! :ROFLMAO: My father was a Pitt fan in his younger years, and so I was raised as a Pitt fan. That is - until my junior year in high school when it was time to take a few visits to campuses. I'd been to Penn State many times, but officially fell in love during the campus tours, etc. Switched allegiances immediately, and so did my dad!

I say, yes! I think nardouche builds Pitt into the best program in all of football. And, when he does, they'll still have about 35,000 show up for a game.

So true. Pitt caught lightning in a bottle and Pickett was better than most expected based upon his recruiting profile. It is always great to see the kids that can make the jump. He went from a 3-star dual threat to possibly the #1 QB in the NFL draft.

Pitt was the beneficiary of a healthy 5th year Senior QB, a weak conference with the bell cow Clemson being down, and the distraction of a multitude of coaching changes to other programs. It's luck and it works for
some programs favor now and then.

Yes. Dynasty. Dominate the State. No. Not happening. Kenny Heisman is implacable and irreplaceable.

You could argue that. Clemson was down but there were plenty of teams in the ACC that Pitt would have normally lost to and this year they didn't. They got a lot of big plays out of their D as well as having a prolific O. I say good for them and good for CFB. A conference needs more than 1 team capable of winning the conference.

How many ā€œbe right backā€ episodes did you have today that obviously drained the blood from your head before you posted this nonsensical ā€œTurn Pitt into a Dynastyā€ dribble?

Does Kenny Heisman get a statue? If so, where does it go? Heinz Field? Outside the cathedral of yearning?
Not yet. After Pitt sux for a while it will dawn on their jaded faithful (too many Natties from the days of yore) that he was the true messiah. Once they do, they'll place a statue of Kenny Heisman at the entrance of the Cathedral. They'll name it "Pickett's Charge."

I'm just still very salty about the season Penn State had, and to be quite honest, I think Pitt stole the show in Pennsylvania this year. They had a cupcake schedule, lucked out with Kenny Pittsburgh Pickett, but they did what they needed to do and expectations were met. Pitt fans are enjoying the excitement this year as they should. Unfortunately, its just another year of Penn State football with no results. Did anyone watch the Pitt/Wake game. So much energy and action. -Watching PSU this year was a complete snooze fest for the most part. Hoping next year is different for us!

The wife an I were at a local bar grabbing a few drinks during the ACC and BIG 10 games. I mostly watched the BIG game cause it was on the 2 TVs in front of me. I could see the ACC game in the bar mirror. A little awkward, but I agree from what I saw there was a ton of energy on both fields.

2 and perhaps 3 G5 teams could have won the ACC this year. The stadium had at least 30k empty seats for its championship. Incredible how Pitt kept Nardouche with all the big time openings this year;)

They will win 8 games next year but that will be more than our win total of 6.

Hereā€™s how you responded to a comment in another thread that criticized Saban: ā€œYou tell him! Heā€™s preparing for a bowl game. How about you?ā€ Iā€™m not defending Narduzzi, but donā€™t your own words apply to what youā€™re saying here? You seem to want it both ways, you can criticize but others canā€™t.

You are a liar. I posted that "he's a little busy preparing for another national championship....." if I missed Nardouche's previous college football playoff appearances I apologize.

They had a good year. If they beat Michigan State in the Peach Bowl I believe they can parlay that victory in landing 3, maybe 4 solid recruits. Does that mean theyā€™ll go 11-2 again, I donā€™t think so. But I wouldnā€™t rule out 9-4.

The Michigan State game is crucial for the pitters. Michigan State is the first decent team they will have played all season. Up to now they have played 13 cupcakes. If they win or even compete well against MSU then they can be recognized as a decent team. If Michigan State blows them out then pitt will be revealed as a total fraud and their record is the result of a putrid schedule.

In any event Narduzzi is such a horrible recruiter that they will fall back to mediocrity starting next year. Narduzzi is a dour humorless SOB and will never be able to recruit good players.

Not trying to be combative, but Dan Marino just may disagree with this statement. Stats in the modern age do not tell the tale of ā€œbest ever.ā€ Completely different game than when Marino played.

I'm sure it's posted elsewhere on here, but I heard that Pickett got selected as a Heisman finalist.

The last time Pitt had two or fewer losses in a season was 1981. That's 40 years ago!! The bowl result will determine if they can break that streak. Regardless, the past 40 years speak for themselves. Pitt played above their mean this year in a weak ACC. Next year they'll revert back to that. As for Dooz, it's his first season with fewer than five losses but he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who knows how to parlay anything.
