That would be 2 years in a row and the first time for Franklin. A top ten ranking plus a win at the Rose Bowl and PSU would look a lot better to future recruits.

Doesn't seem like it to me. Math looks like it would require at least 1 or 2 high 4 star players added that would bring average player rating upward. Seems like the DB Harris is the only one that almost fits that category somewhat.....

As long as we are filling our needs with quality recruits, I don't really care about the rankings. Most of the rankings include class size as a criterion. All schools have years in which they just have fewer scholarships to offer.
the reality of the game now is that transfers are playing a big role for teams. the also explains why teams that may recruit well from HS and lose players are under performing their past rankings.
I agree with previous post that if we are meeting needs that is the key. 1 Tech DT is probably the area we have not been getting for a few classes. The last 2 true 1 tech DT were Cole Brevard (he is at Purdue now) and Caleb Artis (RS FR for 2023). There are some 3 Tech being converted, so this is an area of need.
OT and WR may be a little off, but we have a lot of guys and may be able to cover those. 1 Tech DT miss means we play packages with all 3 tech DTs and maybe go big on DE to compensate. that looked like one of Manny's sub packages this year actually.
