If the process of making decisions doesn't produce results, the process may be faulty. If the process eliminates the one component consistently producing results, the process may be faulty.

I played for a coach in high school that went on to become head coach at two major universities and is in the college football HOF. Assuming you want to win, you put your best players on the field, period. I know; one took my place. If one guy produces and the other does not...

It isn't that complicated; enough of the pomposity.

There's another guy riding pine also that needs to be on the field, post haste and frequently, or we'll be watching him play elsewhere.

Agree. In today's transfer climate, everybody needs to get their fair opportunity to prove themselves on the field in game conditions. How else do you discover that diamond in the rough who may practice poorly but plays like dynamite in the game situation? Play them all in a game just to get a look at something coaches may be missing in practice.

Absolutely correct. Coaches act like it's not their responsibility to coach guys up and get them ready. You mean to tell me 2 guys who have spent their lives as RBs can't get it, but a guy who was a QB then WR now RB does?? Does Hardesty suck that bad?? DK may just be a guy that just gets it. But continuing to run a guy out there that has been grossly ineffective bc you can't coach the others up is a failure of the coaching staff. The Logg's first impressions are wearing thin for me with this one.

Yeah, and Mario isn't some 18 year old true freshman. He's a 22 year old grown man that has spent 3 years in college ball.

This is a great point. Joyner has been playing RB for a few months. I don't know how good Anderson is/isn't, but we are supposed to believe that Joyner has a better grasp on the nuances of the position than Anderson does?

If Mario is so deficient at the position that someone who has been at if for a few months has surpassed him knowledge of the position, then why the heck did we sign Anderson in the first place?

What about Braswell?
He has had some good runs as well and given more than 3-4 carries he may show us what he is capable of.
How can it be worse than what we are currently getting?
I love Joyner as a loyal Gamecock, but winning games is supposed to be our focus.

DK is one of my all time favorite GCs. So I'm not bashing the guy. But he's just not getting it done. I don't want to wait to get embarrassed before making a change like we did last year. Had we made that change in the O earlier last year we'd have been 10-2.
