“And with the first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select…Sean Clifford, quarterback from Penn State.”

Well he’s certainly the most experienced QB in the draft. When he was healthy he usually played much better than most fans gave him credit for. I think he’s certainly capable of being a solid back-up in the NFL.

#2. Who do the Steelers pick? Don't care.
#3. Who do the Eagles pick? Don't care.
#4. And most important....when should I have my first draft? Assuming you are drinking a Bud Light, you could pour that on your breakfast cereal.

I think Zack Kunz goes higher than any other PSU TE. I still don’t know why he was left behind

Kuntz has arguably the best athletic profile of any tight end in the draft class. In today's NFL, he’s an ideal “F” option — meaning he can be moved around the formation — but needs more refinement to play inline in early down personnel packages. Schematically, he can stretch the field vertically from a detached alignment or even align in the slot. His 6-foot-7, 255-pound frame, paired with his 40-inch vertical and 4.55 speed, makes him a nightmare matchup for linebackers and safeties in the middle of the field.

Great. But he is not a PSU TE. He will not enter the Draft as a Penn State product.

He is a former PSU TE. And good for him that things worked out for him.

I don’t think any of us know why he didn’t play much. None of us are at practice or in the film room. However, the coaches are and they felt the other guys gave them the best chance to win. Turns out the other guys were pretty good too. The Steelers have a TE that is 6’8”, but he plays sparingly behind Friermuth. Best of luck to Zach. I wish him success.
