For much of the season, we felt we were being ranked too lowly and had to scratch and claw our way up the rankings. We finally got respect in the polls and promptly crapped the bed like it has never been crapped in before.

I think it's justified. They probably dropped us a little more slowly from #3 than we should have dropped as the losses piled up, probably thinking like our fans that we'd snap out of it and start winning again, proving the losing streak to be just a blip. The drop from 13 to NR is big, but we probably should have been closer to 20 going into the UT series, considering we had gone 3-9 with losses to N. Florida and Charlotte. This weeks' rankings just caught up with where we are as a team.
