Duke is a private institution that doesn’t have to reveal sh|+
It’s an interesting article highlighting how Duke does things differently. Other NIL’s don’t have to reveal anything either (the NIL organization is separate from the public university), but about all others make it very clear how to donate and most provide recognition to the big givers, and publicly brag about how much they spend.
With an $11.9 billion endowment, Duke has no need to brag.

Because the article names exactly who is behind (funding) their nil. The article names the collective fictitious name, the location of their office and the 3 alumni and a non-profit invovled.

Also while State publicly points you to SEF, we have less of an idea who gives to our NIL (or at least I do) than who gives to Duke. After reading that article.
Also I imagine State has to publicly ask for money because we don't have enough. Where as Duke and Cooper Flagg doesn't even need their collective money as he has so many true NIL deals.

And we still have the alumni base who, in the old MSU mindset we all adore, say “hell! They still get free food and a free education!! I’m not giving anything just for them to play ball!!”
All the while we sit in athletic purgatory waiting on LSU to pass on another tight end who can throw the ball.

Sounds kinda old school. Big donors with enough money to throw away on 18 year old kids, and Duke doesn’t try to get the alumni base to kick in $10 to get the 5 star point guard
