Was busy with the kids all day. And thank god for that
Sirianni can’t coach out of adversity. Give him a team with momentum and he only really has to cheerlead, and he’s fine. Shove some adversity at him and he has no clue how to get out of it. Been hearing it for weeks. No idea what’s going on and no clue how to fix it. That starts with the coach. And knee-jerk reactions like the Dasai move even further erodes the players belief in the coaching staff. Michael Clay stays. Everyone else is gone. Feels like Howie is with coaching where he was with drafting players a few years ago: he’s trying to be the smartest guy in the room and getting coaches from WAY outside the box. Just stop it dude. With the talent you’ve amassed, you need a strong smart coach. Not an emotional cheerleader

So the Eagles are now looking at 3 away games to reach the Super Bowl: at NFC South winner, at San Fran, and at Dallas/Detroit winner. I knew Dallas winning last night was a bad omen.
Dallas winning was fine. The Eagles had to beat two teams with no pulse and they’d be fine. This is a bad team. It will get worse before it gets better.
The coaching staff is rotten. Siriani won’t and shouldn’t go, but few others on the staff will be here next year.

Having a hard time finding any of this incorrect
Generally I m not in favor of firing the HC just to fire him, especially if you have one that I think can get the job done. Last year many thought the special teams coach sucked, we stuck with him and the special teams has been a strength . I think Nick is the guy, I just hope Howie and Jeffrey don’t interfere with his decisions relative to coaches like they did w Doug’s. . Otoh this statement relative to this game pretty much sums it up….

Both coordinators must go. You don’t fall from 10-1 to 11-5 (with a talented roster) and not make total changes on play callers.

I don’t think he’ll fight that. That said the O cord almost reminds me of the STC last yr. The O is not that far off. The D? They need some help in the back end ( duh)
Agree about the O to an extent. The constant abandoning of the run perplexes the $h!T out of me. One of the best OLs in the game and swift had what, 5 or 6 attempts in the first half? They’re putting up points but I often wonder if that’s strictly based on talent alone.
The D is a disaster though. How long till Howie realizes scrap-heap LBers don’t freaking work? The middle of the field has been open all season and we can’t stop the run.
