On the bright side, at least they no longer have to deal with all undefeated chatter.

100%. Glad to get that out of the way. Needed a reality check. Now tighten back up the rest of the way. They lost that “hungry dog” mentality

you’re right. He wouldn’t be able to do a thing to stop washington’s 5 yard chunk rubs.
I agree especially if he played as high as his teammates. If they only played harder w better techniques they wouldn’t need him. Not having him isn’t why they lost.

Birds take over after a punt with 5 sec left, and the ball on their own 10.

Eagles try to lateral around on the last play and end up throwing the ball away and the Commanders scoop it up for a TD.

Final, 32-21, Commanders

man, what are the eagles doing with Rocker when they could just hire you.

And Nowhere close to what I said. Like, not even a little bit. But you go ahead and do you, boo boo.

You indicated the reason WTF was able to run the effectively was because Davis was not available. I indicated that he wasn’t the reason they could run it. They ran it because the Eagles early on , didn’t play w pride they didn’t play their technique, they got blocked and stayed blocked
That that’s why you lose. I know David Turner coached Fletcher better

Notice Lane move to left guard on that run play?
Actually they ran tackle over several times. They had both tackles and a guard on one side and a nub TE w just a guard on the other The did it several times both left and right

The Texans wrote the blueprint on how to beat the Eagles. The WTF executed it. Just run the ball , stay patient, and take the 5 yds they give you running the ball. As long as the O doesn’t put pressure on the other O to keep up scoring, just keep taking the 5 yds they give up. Throw when u want, not when you have to

They made 1-2 too many mistakes on offense tonight. That happens. The Hurts interception was a pretty good risk to take and what a throw it was. It really shows you how far he's come as a passer. The fumbles were bad luck - especially the Watkins fumble. That play may have swung the game more than just about any other play tonight.

The defense is a problem area. They've gotten by all year on creating turnovers to stop teams. See the Vikings game. It always stood to reason that eventually they'd come down to earth on takeaways. You saw tonight how vulnerable they are against the run. Every team left on the schedule will try and exploit that.

Getting Davis back will help, but I am not sure this is a championship caliber unit on defense. There were a lot of mistakes made tonight, but a 4-5 Commanders team just dominated the defense for large stretches tonight. The Giants offense looks a lot like Washington. We saw what Dallas almost pulled off with Cooper Rush. We'll learn a lot about them over the next few games, starting with a run-focused Indy offense next week.

Roughing penalty was obvious. When a player gives himself up you can’t hit them. The face mask, welcome to crappy refs in the NFL. Get used to it happens every week.

I had no horse in this race, but eggels were screwed on the facemask and the roughing call. Not sure how a top rated crew misses both those calls
I didn't watch the game but kept up with the score to halftime. Nobody wants to "go there" but the NFL and college ball increasingly appear "rigged." An independent and thorough audit of officials' personal finances would either confirm that or put issues to rest. Too much money in sports betting these days to ignore the issue.

A game like this was inevitable after getting off to an 8-0 start. It was very frustrating to watch but after sleeping on it, I think they are better off playing like crap against the Commanders then say the Cowgirls or the vaGiants. To qoute a Malcom Jenkins tweet I saw this morning, "Best thing for the Eagles, no more undefeated talk" and the pressure that comes with it. Now lets go beat the Colts.

Yeah that's it. The games are rigged when the Eagles lose. Geez.

Remember a legendary coach who had 409 victories say more games are lost than won.
Oh I don’t care one way or other about the Eagles. I have no interest in the NFL
But….

It’s easy to tweak Iggles fans. …

When I was a kid my favorite team was the 1972 Dolphins. The Iggles can win the super bowl as long as they are not undefeated.

What NFL team do you support, anyway? I’m guessing none else I would have taken notice by now.

Edit: I am now guessing that you anticipated my question and meant to answer it, but your post got garbled. Answer: None.

The commies out-eagled the eagles. Long time consuming drives, with an OL that overpowered the DL. That’s what the eagles have done all season so far

EDIT: sorry, I forgot. Congrats @LionJim your boys looked really good. Robinson is a handful
And three huge 4th quarter errors broke Washington’s way. The Watkins fumble and PF on Graham were particularly harmful.

If either of those or the Goedert fumble/no call break Philly’s way, they likely would have won the game.

Bad luck happens sometimes. And when you’re 8-0 it comes looking for you!
