Make that 3.
Well he is kind of skinny.that was pathetic. DeVonta had two hands on the ball, and still had it knocked out.
It‘s why they didn’t win the Superbowl.Birds' 4 best offensive stars are (random order)
- Jalen Hurts
- AJ Brown
- DeVonta Smith
- D'Andre Smith
3 of the 4 have fumbled the ball today, each time on the Dallas half of the field, and each time the Pokes have recovered the fumble
Spot on. The product doesn’t equal the individual parts. That’s usually on coaching or leadership. The offense seems to lack creativity.
Defense has great players, but has been giving up way too many points.
IMO creativity is the last thing they need. Seems every time they get creative they get a penalty. They need to go back to running inside/outside zone. Get hurts to get the ball out fasterThe offense seems to lack creativity.

Well when you get to play the giants twice Arizona and the Seahawks there will be a miraculous turn aroundSpot on. The product doesn’t equal the individual parts. That’s usually on coaching or leadership.
Whatever the cause, it’s week 14. The Eagles have been badly exposed. Their days of real contention appear over for 2023 barring some miraculous turnaround.

All hope it not lost. As bad as I thought it looked bad, the box score shows a much closer game. 324-394 total yards in favor of Dal and 6.2ypp-5.3ypp in favor of Eagles. The turnovers were obviously killers. I've seen teams make quick turnarounds before and SF is one overdue injury to McCaffrey (not that I wish that upon him) from being beatable. Need to win out.Spot on. The product doesn’t equal the individual parts. That’s usually on coaching or leadership.

we’ll see. I’m not as worried about the offense. Cut the turnovers and focus, and they’re good. All hope it not lost. In general, how much/little are Eagles fans impressed by yesterday’s version of the Cowboys? Any consensus? It’s hard not to take away that maybe the Cowboys are better than Philadelphia, at the moment anyway.
Dallas is clearly better at the moment. While that could change, barring any significant injuries, neither Dallas nor Philly is winning in January against San Francisco. It's hard to speak for Birds' fans. And trying to learn of a consensus today is damn near impossible, if you listen to Philadelphia sports talk.
Reactions are all over the place (not unusual after a loss), but my limited take is those fans that talk about the Pokes seem to feel yesterday's game was more a result of poor execution by the Birds' players, and the Birds' coaches, than a result of what the Pokes did. That's likely more a combo of emotion and familiarity with the Birds, than an objective evaluation of the Pokes.
It will be interesting to see how things look after the next 4 weeks. The Pokes have a tough schedule, while the Birds do not.
He was under the weather but the way he played, you wouldn’t have known. BTW, agree with your assessment.I only watched a few minutes of the game (several times), but Dallas looked siginficantly better than Philly. All facets.
By the way, did not see Micah Parsons - was he out? Or did I just turn on the game when he was on the sideline?
I have Dallas 1.6 points better than the Eagles on a neutral. Yesterday's point spread supports that.Dallas is clearly better at the moment. While that could change, barring any significant injuries, neither Dallas nor Philly is winning in January against San Francisco.
The defense is bad and wouldn't you say that they have better players than last season (I know a few are older now)? Yeah, Desai is not impressing anyone.we’ll see. I’m not as worried about the offense. Cut the turnovers and focus, and they’re good.
But the defense is terrible. Like 2019 and 2020 bad again. That’s a much less likely solve this year. I really believe Desai is out of his depth.
You optimistic b@stard. Each time I think I'm out, you pull me back in!The defense is bad and wouldn't you say that they have better players than last season (I know a few are older now)? Yeah, Desai is not impressing anyone.
Things can change a lot in a month. Look no further than Detroit and Green Bay. Very different teams than when they first played.
They've given up on Swift. I wonder if he has an injury or is just struggling with fatigue. Gainwell had quite a bit more burst last night and that wasn't the case early on.Seems like Hurts has not been as much of a threat to run this season compared to last year, even before his knee injury. That might have been the strategy but I think it has made their offense less dynamic this season.
I also wonder if Swift has not been as effective as Sanders was last season.
I live in DFW and was a guest at the game…..it was a brutal beating. The loss was tough…but….worse than that was the physical beating we took. I agree 150% with Philly commentator D. Gunn who spoke off the record with several players who flat out told him that we were predictable as hell. On both offense and defense we were too predictable. I played safety and coached a little back in the day and our defense reminded me of a bunch of bull fighters playing the ole defense with some of the worst tackling that I have seen in quite some time. We need a gut check this week and I would not be surprised to see one of our offensive or defensive coordinators….knocked down a notch with Nick Sirianni sharing their duties or even terminated…..it was that bad ! Tackling is not just technique……it is also about desire and a mindset of imposing your will. The game is still a game of emotion. I wonder have different the game would have been if on Dallas’ touchdown the flag wasn’t picked up ( as order by NY. They mentioned that later in the game ) Then Dallas kicks a FG. Eagles moved the ball well the whole game but their best drives ended with fumbles
I do think Slay and more Bradbury are shells of their former self

Mathematical Logic 101: ~(~P)=P.I would agree the last 2 weeks they haven’t played with no pride
Corrected it. Old D cord logicMathematical Logic 101: ~(~P)=P.
I doubt that happens. Not against it but I think will be happy in Charolette getting ready to take over his ministry. at least that is what I have heard, but who knows.noticed that sports writer Marcus Hayes is suggesting that the Eagles bring Frank Reich in as an offensive consultant asap. I AGREE…..can only help !
