Westside: The Cardinals are 3-11. Three and eleven. I don't know the Giants' won-loss record off the top of my head, but it is similarly bad. The Giants have, for the umpteenth year in a row, the single WORST offensive line in the NFL. What did Saquon do to merit this kind of purgatory? The Eagles are toast. They’ve lost their confidence and identity. Their coaching staff is young and will struggle to get it back.
Murray and the Cardinals will be a major problem for them. So may the Giants on the road.
I have been thinking/feeling that we have regressed to the Rich Kotite years!!This season is starting to look like 1994
From 7-2 to 7-9
Did Kotite ever win 10 games?
My bad Tom - as for the game does Quez ever fight for the ball? At least he needs to break up that INT between his ill-advised drops.A reminder that there is an Eagles thread, and then a game thread for each of their games.
As for Kotite, he was 10-6 his first season (1991) as head coach, and 11-5 his second season. Things went downhill from there. He was:
1993: 8-8
1994: 7-9
1995: 3-13 (NY Jets)
1996: 1-15 (NY Jets)
He and Davis are the future of that defense. And it’s not close. One of Bradberry and Slay will get moved on after the season. Likely can’t do both in one offseason.understatement of the year award....
We all know Carter is a rookie deep into this season but he just simply needs to play more than 46% of defensive snap
Wouldn’t hurt my feelings to move on from both.He and Davis are the future of that defense. And it’s not close. One of Bradberry and Slay will get moved on after the season. Likely can’t do both in one offseason.
I think Slay can still play and they don’t have two high-end youngsters waiting. They need to create cap space and draft young CBs to develop. That takes multiple seasons, seasons when they should be a playoff team.Wouldn’t hurt my feelings to move on from both.
