For reference for people saying Stoops is out because he's too old:

Willie Fritz: born in 1960
Bob Stoops: 1960
Mike Leach: 1961
Bobby Petrino: 1961
Brian Kelly: 1961
Jim Harbaugh: 1963
Urban Meyer (sp?): 1964
Chris Petersen: 1964
Lance Leipold: 1964
Jimbo Fisher: 1965
Gus Malzahn: 1965
Chris Klieman: 1967
Jeff Traylor: 1968
Dabo Swinney: 1969
Tom Herman: 1975
Kirby Smart: 1975 (damn)

None of these guys are spring chickens. Point is, there's not much difference in ages between a lot of them.

Oh and
Kyle Whittingham: 1959 (this surprised me)
Nick Saban: 1951

You know there's this guy that is still young (44) had head coaching experience in both the college and pros, did some time at USC(w), and is know as an offensive guru. And I'm not talking about Kiffen.

Cignetti has 13 years experience and has a win rate of .776 That's not far off from Saban's .801. And it's higher than Harbaugh. He makes 1.5 million per year.

I’ve been on the Cignetti bandwagon from the jump. His resume is awesome.

how has he not been a HC at a major program yet? All that guy does is recruit and win, and he's got a pedigree that should have got him in the door somewhere 20 years ago.
