Me too! But I'm working a side hustle to go there one day..........I’m too poor to eat at Eleys
I think it actually needs a little salt and I don’t salt anything very much. It’s ok.Is it good, too salty, just right, not putting that on a prime filet ?
What say ye SixPack?
Me and Ms NT went to Ely’s last week for my birthday. I don’t like getting a steak out very often because I think my steak is usually better. But dam their steak is very good and one of the few places that I like a lot better than my own. It might bee the seasoning but more than likely it’s the 28 day dry aging. It’s expensive but worth it on occasion. Is it good, too salty, just right, not putting that on a prime filet ?

To me it’s like a less salty vs of Montreal. I do like it though. Was gifted some and went through it pretty quickly.Ordered some - going to try it on the burgers this week and for steak night on Sunday night.

I don't think there is a difference. Is there any difference between the Hail Steak seasoning and the other one?
I like it. Somebody got me some for Christmas last year and I've used it on every steak since. A little olive oil and then the Hail Steak and it's good to go!Is it good, too salty, just right, not putting that on a prime filet ?

I like Dales, I like Worchestershire sauce, I like Hoover Sauce, I like Bully's Steak Dust but I'm not a fan of Edam Cheese! Here it goes……I like Dales….there I said it.
Duh. The Hail Steak tastes so much better. Is there any difference between the Hail Steak seasoning and the other one?
All a steak needs is a light coating of olive oil with some coarse sea salt, freshly ground yet coarse black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Nothing crazy spicy, nothing sweet, and nothing tangy. Just enough to let the beef be beef.Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder or a garlic clove rubbed on the steak right off the grill or skillet. Maybe a stick of butter if your hungry.
I haven't bought prepared steak seasonings in many years.
How’d that work out? I hear singles work well tooused it on a strip last night.
I live too far away to eat there. Which is a shame because I still have my gift card.I’m too poor to eat at Eleys
Probably spending it all on travel baseball and bitching about it constantly.I’m too poor to eat at Eleys
I put a little salt and ground black pepper on one side then just a dab of Lea & Perrins and more ground pepper on the other. Used to over do it. I know I'll catch some heat but I don't do quick sear jobs. Just kinda slow till med rate. The only things a filet needs are a bit of salt, pepper and a good sear on both sides.
