Anybody else just excited to have the hope and excitement that precedes the Fall season again? I hope everyone in here can keep it positive. I don't want people complaining about "sunshine pumpers" and "taters" and all that other crap. I HOPE that we have a great season, and I'm excited to see how the season plays out. Even if it isn't great, hopefully people will follow the sage advice of "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Go Gamecocks!

Hope springs anew each fall. Like most Gamecock fans, my hope is tempered with some pessimism because we’ve been burned so many times but I’m always hopeful and excitedly.
Well, there is one season in all my years as a fan that I wasn’t hopeful or excited: the year of the Collin Hill debacle. I just couldn’t muster interest in that team.
On a scale of 1 through 10 I am at maybe a 6 on the excite-meter. I am more anxious and hopeful then anything. The team is an unknown, but things sound very positive.
If we go out there and handle Georgia State like the cupcakes like they are- then I’ll be excited for the next game.
