Anybody else getting constant warnings and redirects to McAfee or some other security warning? I'm only getting these on this site and do not have Mcafee installed on my PC.

I don't get them here at all but I get about 3 emails a day on one of my email accounts that I only use for ordering items online, they say they are from Mcafee, my subscription is expired but they are still monitoring and I've got a virus blah blah blah yada yada yada

thats the way it started on mine... maybe a couple times every few days.. now its multiple times daily, even hourly if im on here that long.
Is it on the same device or does it occur on different devices? It hasn't occurred on my phone but has on a desktop and laptop I use.

Via the app or browser? I never have to sign in.
The browser. On the old site I rarely had to sign in after I established my username and PW on the site. Firefox saves my user ID and PW but it doesn't seem to read the data on On3. Today, I've had to sign in everytime I visited (3 -4 times).

Download Fdroid and get Adaway. Or switch to duck duck go browser. Firefox, Chrome, and Microsoft all suck when it comes to the rogue ads and popups.

Make sure you are not in private browsing mode.

I'm having this redirect issue like crazy today from fake Norton and sites that my virus detection is blocking. Honestly it's happening every 5 minuets.

I'm using a firefox on a laptop.

As Christmas gets closer - bad ads get put in these advertising networks. I unfortunately don't have control over the ads anymore but we had this issue before we moved to On3. It just wasn't as prevalent or y'all didn't complain as much - one or the other. I report them to On3 when y'all say something.

Anybody else seeing this again?

I'm just now having it happn but it's pretty quickly now. No pop-up, just moves from this site to some scammy Mcafee site. Sometimes I can click backwards and get back to where I was. Sometimes I have to just close down the tab and open a new one to get back to sixpack.

If it would help On3, here's the URL information from my company's internal blockers:

Code:

I'm getting it.
New Laptop, Windows 11.
Me too. Exactly the same. I think mine had Macafee installed as a suggested product for antivirus. But I did not want Macafee or anybody else not named PCMatic. Been with PCMatic for years and works great. PCMatic is a U.S. based company and most of the others are based in not-so-good countries. This Macafee thing I think is some type of sophisticated malware or is embedded in Microsoft code so us average users can't get rid of it. It locks up my computer at least 2-3 times per week.

I posted this on another thread a while back. Worked like a charm for me on Google:

"Same here. I have found if I add these sites to the "Do not allow" list for pop-ups & redirects they do stop for a while. But they eventually come back using a different url. At least that has been the case a couple times so far.

If anyone here wants to try that and needs a little help learning how to do it, let me know."

To update, after needing to do the above a few times, I finally got it to stop for good using this procedure.

Hopefully this last Windows update, nipped this in the bud.
No attacks since I down loaded it, and gave all cookies and history a Dump.
Finger crossed, two days.
