I think a lot of schools decide to let CU try Prime out. If he fails they will be whew. If he starts to kill it, several schools will come offering bigger $$$ and better chance for success and he will bolt as fast as his 40 back in the day.Coach Prime is in for a culture shock because while CU likes their football they don't derive their identity from it like Florida State, SEC schools or even Penn State. Deion may be a great recruiter but can the name Deion Sanders out recruit the NIL money a lot of other school will have? One thing I can guarantee you is Coach Prime will be complaining his players aren't getting paid enough and the school and supporters of the program need to do more. We'll see how well that goes. CU is comfortable with who they are. They haven't tried to be a Rocky Mountain version of the SEC and I don't see Coach Prime's arrival changing that.
Just my opinion is it is not a good fit and Sanders should have waited for an opportunity at a school that lives and dies football.

Over/under on how long this clown show will last at Colorado?

I find this video a class on leadership. You were 1-11 last year. Everything is up for change. This is my team now, get on board or get out. This is the kind of confidence and leadership most men envy in their work and personal lives.
Come on, AKB, you’re better than this.
Why are there at least 2 people filming his supposed first talk with his new team? And why do you think this video is supposedly going viral?
Because it’s a show. He wants this out there. He’s trying to create a buzz to attract attention, and it seems to be working.
How many portal players does he need to have a “decent” season in 2023, 10? 20 maybe? MSU basically set the table for what CU needs to do right now, and that’s attract the interest of as many quality players in the portal, or decent players not happy on their current team, as he can so he can convince them to play for him. And I bet he will.
Is it a recipe for long-term success? No, but that’s not his end game here.
Colorado is pretty, CU is a decent school (not that this matters much), Sanders is the hot coach, and marijuana is legal.Hard to believe that so many players in the transfer portal are projected to get Buffaloed into playing there...
Sanders has been shown as being very concerned about academics and culture. No earrings, dress well, sit in the front row of class. It might all be an act, but all I have to go on at the moment is what I’ve seen.Apparently Sean Lewis HC of Kent State is going to CU to be prime's OC. Interesting.

One might say. On the other hand, it’s certainly plausible that he is taking his coaching and leadership responsibilities seriously and teaching his players from from his own experiences. Speaking for myself, it took me a long time to grow up, much longer than I am happy with. Once I figured things out, I was a hell of a motivator. I’m proud of that part. We’ll see. Sanders cannot be worse than any odd half-dozen coaches already out there.Very much a 'do as I say, not as I do' approach I see.....
That or it's because his son is the QB and he's being a dad!One might say. The son is supposedly top-notch, that wouldn’t hurt. That or it's because his son is the QB and he's being a dad!

Well, there’s that.Referred to incoming players (who will be taking the spots of existing players) as luggage. Clown shoes.
You're not wrong. The kid that Tweeted above referred to himself as luggage as well. Maybe Ric Flair can be his strength and conditioning coach!Referred to incoming players (who will be taking the spots of existing players) as luggage. Clown shoes.

*Louis luggageCome to Colorado and be Deion's luggage! Whoooooooooooo!!!!!!
Clown show will do just fine, give him a couple seasons to recruit and look out.
Hopefully moreso than at his sham basketball school Prime Prep Academy.Sanders has been shown as being very concerned about academics and culture. No earrings, dress well, sit in the front row of class. It might all be an act, but all I have to go on at the moment is what I’ve seen.

Just think - he could be building the next Texas A&M.It will be interesting to see how, two years down the road, he deals with those 4- and 5-star players he brought in who haven’t been able to thrive. That’s always a thing.
Yeah, I thought that myself. Somehow the TAMU superstars have not bought into the program and it shows.Just think - he could be building the next Texas A&M.
He's definitely landing some recruits, let's see how he does as a coach. This isn't Jackson St. where he could get by with a talent advantage alone, he's got his work cut out for him.Deion’s got a brand new bag.
Deion lands No. 1 CB as McClain flips to Colorado
Cormani McClain, a five-star cornerback and the No. 4 overall prospect in his class, announced he has flipped from Miami to Colorado, giving coach Deion Sanders his first five-star prospect as Buffaloes coach.www.espn.com
I don't think he does anything that isn't on camera. It's kind of annoying actually, but I'm not the target audience. If the team does well, the social media presence will likely help. If they are terrible, the exposure could make it worse. His intro team meeting and the weird Tim Brewster pep talk have definitely received some negative feedback so it's not all rainbows and unicorns. He definitely getting a lot of social media and media coverage, that is for sure

I hear ya. I thought the Coach Brewer stuff was funny. Yeah yeah, we get it. Tough love, pride, and discipline. Ummm, those are staples in college football.I don't think he does anything that isn't on camera. It's kind of annoying actually, but I'm not the target audience.
