It’s been what, maybe 30-35 years now since they gained the ability to show the lyrics on the scoreboard and that died off.

Yes, they should never ever be allowed to enjoy anything in life until they win big games.
Very true. I hate liver, skunky beer, the Nissan Cube, brussel sprouts, overly tattooed women, anchovies on pizza, losses to Iowa in any sport.....and.... Taylor Swift noise.

I will confess that I find some of her songs, well, catchy lol.
And while she is the textbook example of overexposure these days, I can’t help but admire her savvy for connecting with her fans via social media and generating the level of hype over her music that has lifted her into billionaire status. It’s hard to look down on massive success.
I also am impressed with the energy she puts into these 3+ hour shows with constant dancing and many costume changes without any significant breaks. My sister and BIL took their daughters to see the Eras tour in Philly and they both came away in awe of her performance chops and endurance.
