Something to do on a Tuesday - please feel free to add anything you like. Has been my favorite show since about 9th grade; I missed the 'early' years, but was lucky enough to get into it around 1989 - cast then was Phil Hartman, Nora Dunn, Jan Hooks, Victoria Jackson, Dennis Miller, Jon Lovitz, and Kevin Nealon. The next year they added Myers, Sandler, Farley, Carvey, Rob Schneider, Tim Meadows, and David Spade.

I'll fill mine out soon....

Love these; appreciate the restraint!! Was very difficult for me to do the same. Should have had an 'Unsung Heroes' category - would have Molly Shannon, Bobby Moynihan, Tim Meadows, Horatio Sanz, Ana Gasteyer, Nasim Pedrad.....

Jesus - just realized Jimmy Fallon only shows up once in my list.

Prose and Cons: A poem titled "Images" by Tyrone Green (Eddie Murphy)

Dark and lonely on a Summer-night
Kill my Landlord, Kill my Landlord,
Watchdog barking do he bite?
Kill my Landlord, kill my landlord,
Slip in his window
Break his neck
then his house I start to wrek
Got know reason
What the heck
Kill my Landlord, Kill my Landlord
(C)ill my Landlord Death.

Another strong candidate for 'Best One-Off'.....and since I speak some Japanese, it's worth noting the dialogue is accurate - not just nonsense...

Jane, You Ignorant Slut

Not to be confused with Fairgambit Enterprises - Consumer Probe

The inimitable Joe Coker

Who was your graduation speaker? Because of Jane you ignorant slut, I remember mine, Shana Alexander.

PSU graduation? That was at half year on a very cold December morning in drafty Rec Hall. Of course, my roomie and I got bombed beforehand to stay warm. I honestly don't remember. :giggle:

I loved the Tina Fey one before the Super Bowl.

And for the record, I think we actually lost at Bunker Hill--one of my ancestors broke his ankle running away across the Charleston Neck after the defeat.

Watched the 50 years of music on SNL... Totally forgot they had FEAR on SNL. Belushi was key in getting them on including mosh pit and slam dancing. Was absolutely crazy, SNL really reached out experimenting with musical guests back in the day, inclduing rap with the urging of Blondie.

Was watching a rerun of the Simpsons yesterday and thought the same thing when Homer pointed to Uraguay on a glove and said, ‘Heh heh - U R Gay.’
Yeah, that’s entirely too sophomoric for anyone to be put off with.

Great topic and great thread gang. Will do a deeper dive tomorrow. With the 59th here, the recently released movie Saturday Night is a pretty fun look into what that first show was like pulling off. Great cast.
