Here’s an idea when your children get old enough to learn how to drive.

You text him and say that as part of your parental training you would like your child to experience “horsepower” so as to learn how dangerous powerful vehicles can be and that you would appreciate him offering his Ferrari just to see what kind of response you get. 😀

Love it. He has about seven of them.

Nice, I like it. I could do without the giant spoiler on the back though. I'm not a fan of them, at least ones that big.
Did you get rid of the TT?

I think LSHF has the TT and is upgrading to the Lotus soon.

GODZILLA!!!

HIIIIIII!!!!! Fell in love with Skylines growing up in Japan well before they were available in the US. The other Nissan I love but have never seen in the States is the Silvia....very popular with the local Yakuza....not sure if made anymore, but this would be early 2000s.

The USA import rule is right hand drive cars 25 years old can be brought in. A Hopat neighbor had a NA Miata right hand drive. I’ve seen some skylines at CnCs along the way. You’d be a huge hit rolling in a right hand drive JDM
yeah the TT is mine. passed to 2 when I buy my next car

I learned to drive in a Japan on a ‘79 Mazda RX-7 five speed right hand drive. Japanese RX’s have a tiny two person backseat. Loved that car…

3100 for rear tvs you BALLER lol

Bruh - we have them in our current RR and they've been invaluable. Of course, it's a 2015, so iPads and in-car internet weren't as prevalent. We had to special order and have shipped from England. Our kids prefer the screens to iPads and they can put on headphones while I listen to The Smiths. ;)

Hoping the wife will approve the black rims, but we'll see....

Harry sees morrissey sp every time he comes to town. Is it too ga y for 4 dudes to go to the show? Could be

Yeah, he was supposed to play a couple months ago but cancelled. I have a group of friends who are very serious concert goers (my one friend went to Spain early last summer for two weeks with said group just to hit up Euro festivals) with very wide ranging music tastes. We were going to go to Morrissey but alas, This Charming Man bailed....

Love his music but he (Morrissey) is a first class wanker.
Not sure what is going on with his new album, Without the Music the World dies, I think he's fighting (yea big surprise at that) with his record label over his last non-issued album Bonfire of the Teenagers. SMH.
This is one of the songs off of Bonfire called Rebels without Applause has some great Smiths vibes and Johnny Marr style guitar work.

Love me The Smiths and his solo work, wankiness aside. LOL.
Sorry for derailing your car thread but it was @Midnighter fault. ;)

"Fairly" He's just slightly left of Ted Nugent. :ROFLMAO:
It is too bad though, sometimes you just want to go to a concert to listen to good music...cough, cough Roger Waters...
This 100% osees say “thanks Brooklyn, DIG IN” that’s all I want or need

interesting...never knew about this
1680014353909.png

In the early 1970s, Ford Motor Company was producing the Maverick, a compact car marketed as an affordable and efficient vehicle. However, the demand for the Maverick was not as high as Ford had anticipated, and they found themselves with a surplus of unsold cars.

To deal with this surplus, Ford decided to store thousands of unsold Mavericks in the Subtropolis caves located in Kansas City, Missouri. Subtropolis is a man-made underground complex of limestone mines, covering

over 55 million square feet, and is home to many businesses that use the caves for storage and other purposes.

Ford leased about 25 acres of the cave complex, which was ideal for storing the cars as the caves are naturally climate-controlled with temperatures ranging between 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit year-round. The cars were kept in the caves until they could be sold, which reportedly took several years.

The storage of the Mavericks in the Subtropolis caves became somewhat of a legend in the automotive world, with many car enthusiasts and historians fascinated by the idea of thousands of unsold cars sitting underground for years. Today, the Subtropolis complex is still in use, and while the Mavericks are no longer stored there, the story of their time underground remains a unique piece of automotive history.
