FC/OT: Oregon unveils uniforms for Colorado game, may have to root for the Buffs….

Our uniforms have been changing colors for years. But mostly to grass stained and mud colored
It would be wild if they changed into white, gold and black....like Colorado. Oregon uses white gold (bright yellow) and black in their color schemes, so not much of a stretch.
Oregon - the only team which can change uniforms depending on which Conference they would like to play in, even during the middle of a game!!
PSU was way ahead of the color change curve. Our black and pink morphed into blue and white.
Green and black is not a bad look. That's pretty tame compared to some of their past uniform iterations that looked more like train derailments.
I think they should switch to cotton uniforms:
That "O" on their helmet stands for the number of national championships they have won.
Paterno changed colors from royal blue to navy in the late 60s. Eventually the other sports fell in line. Royal blue is still the official color of the University while navy is the official color for athletics.
If they've changed, it was recent. Back when they switched to the new two color logo, the lighter, royal blue was still listed as the official Penn State Blue.
Here's a photo of Paterno's team transitioning from royal to navy blue. The jersey is royal, while the pants stripe, helmet stripe and numbers are navy. I think this was from around '67-'68.
