Hard to tell how much impact she really took, but certainly looks like a bit of over dramatization. But, no Y chromosome, so if like most of the girls that age I know, should be no surprise here. Slow news days for this to get so much play...

I agree there looks to be a bit of over dramatization with the collision. I think that’s a fair way of putting it.

Glad she’s ok but the ESPN coverage and drama over this story is way overblown.

Just commenting on the vids we’ve seen. People can disagree.

I have no problem with college fans rushing the court after a big win. It’s a long standing tradition and never really been a problem.

I've stormed a court and it was a blast. That said, there are certain arenas where doing it is more challenging than others. I was at the UCF-Kansas game where Knights fans stormed after the win. I was 6 rows off the court and could see one choke point where students were dangerously close to getting trampled because the access point of the court was over and around a press row table. Then, one of the officials got trapped between the basket support and the student section and had to wait until traffic cleared before getting out of there. You can't always predict a storm but security needs to be better in order to at least get the players, staff, and officials out of there in a safe way. Tulane tried with their rope line but it was haphazard and one of the Memphis players got pushed in the back (referenced by @Erial_Lion). I still think that court stormings are fine but they have to be done right. PSU's after they beat Wisky was fine. UCF's was borderline dangerous.

As for the Clark collision, I'll just ask the critics if they've ever collided full speed into someone else running full speed who they barely saw at the last second. That could have been a lot worse.
