Is Mark Cuban in the market for an NFL team?If the allegations turn out to be true, I expect Ross to also face a serious penalty.

you could argue that if you want, but wouldnt, if true, trying to lose, be reflected in the point spread? Teams dont have to win to cover a spread, so a team could lose every game, but still cover all the spreads. And Goodell is a shill for the owners. I'd argue that if true, what Ross did was 10x worse than Ridley.
Brian Flores willing to share evidence with NFL for Stephen Ross tanking investigation
Former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores is willing to aid in the NFL's investigation into whether Dolphins owner Stephen Ross offered Flores a bonus to lose games.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
Are you implying the odds makers would get tipped off? Not sure what you're asking.you could argue that if you want, but wouldnt, if true, trying to lose, be reflected in the point spread?
they would just watch their play on the field, after 1 game, if they are doing what BF suggests, it would be clear. And that's why I think what BF suggests is BS. And if not, he is an idiot for not asking for a contract extension. Are you implying the odds makers would get tipped off? Not sure what you're asking.
But BF refused to do it and got fired because of it.they would just watch their play on the field, after 1 game, if they are doing what BF suggests, it would be clear. And that's why I think what BF suggests is BS. And if not, he is an idiot for not asking for a contract extension.
thats not why he got firedBut BF refused to do it and got fired because of it.
Ok then, enlighten me wise one. Why did he get fired?thats not why he got fired
he had a losing record and never made the playoffs. and Ross wanted to hire Jim Harbaugh.Ok then, enlighten me wise one. Why did he get fired?
Flores won 8 of his last 9 games. The future was getting brighter. And this.he had a losing record and never made the playoffs. and Ross wanted to hire Jim Harbaugh.
so?Flores won 8 of his last 9 games. The future was getting brighter. And this.

he said that, but you werent watching the other hand. Jimmy was going to get the Vikings(?) job, which at that point Ross would have cover to say he wasnt the one taking him from UM, so now he would out bid the Vikes (?) for him. But for various reason, that plan didnt work.Actually, ross went on the record a few months ago saying he would not be the one to pry hairball away from um.
If you committed an act of domestic violence, would it affect your job?The difference is the first four are legal issues outside the game, but Ridley's is a football-related transgression.
As an aside, I really do not think the NFL should be applying discipline for off-the-field incidents, but that's another story. If the incidents are really criminal/legal issues, let the court system deal with it.
Depends on the conviction punishment. If you committed an act of domestic violence, would it affect your job?
So you're saying that Ross was lying. He'll lie about one topic but not another. Interesting.he said that, but you werent watching the other hand. Jimmy was going to get the Vikings(?) job, which at that point Ross would have cover to say he wasnt the one taking him from UM, so now he would out bid the Vikes (?) for him. I am not certain. Maybe no. Maybe yes.If you committed an act of domestic violence, would it affect your job?

True. What Ross did (if true) was way worse, especially considering that it appears Ridley bet the Falcons to win. Can't mess with the integrity of the game more than he did.And Goodell is a shill for the owners. I'd argue that if true, what Ross did was 10x worse than Ridley.

huh? Ross said he wouldnt be the guy to take Jimmy, but if the Vikes did, they were the ones taking him, so he might as well have him. There's no lie there. So you're saying that Ross was lying. He'll lie about one topic but not another. Interesting.
That's hearsay. He came right out in an interview and said he wouldn't be the guy to take Harbaugh away from Michigan.Ross said he wouldnt be the guy to take Jimmy, but if the Vikes did, they were the ones taking him, so he might as well have him.
I am not disagreeing with that. and you're right it was hearsay, speculation etc and I noted the plan got derailed, for whatever reasonThat's hearsay. He came right out in an interview and said he wouldn't be the guy to take Harbaugh away from Michigan.
First time I've heard this. Got a link?huh? Ross said he wouldnt be the guy to take Jimmy, but if the Vikes did, they were the ones taking him, so he might as well have him. There's no lie there.
www.profootballtalk.com its several weeks old, but I am sure you can find it.First time I've heard this. Got a link?
Morals clauses... these things negatively affect the brand image. I have a morals clause in my employment contract, if I am arrested for domestic violence I am fired (although I am not in a union). The difference is the first four are legal issues outside the game, but Ridley's is a football-related transgression.
As an aside, I really do not think the NFL should be applying discipline for off-the-field incidents, but that's another story. If the incidents are really criminal/legal issues, let the court system deal with it.
I was taught long before Pop Werner to not hit people, but that hasn't stopped NFL players from committing domestic violence and those suspensions were much shorter.
