you could argue that if you want, but wouldnt, if true, trying to lose, be reflected in the point spread? Teams dont have to win to cover a spread, so a team could lose every game, but still cover all the spreads.And Goodell is a shill for the owners. I'd argue that if true, what Ross did was 10x worse than Ridley.

The difference is the first four are legal issues outside the game, but Ridley's is a football-related transgression.
As an aside, I really do not think the NFL should be applying discipline for off-the-field incidents, but that's another story. If the incidents are really criminal/legal issues, let the court system deal with it.

Actually, ross went on the record a few months ago saying he would not be the one to pry hairball away from um.

Sidenote on sportsbooks involvement in shenanigans with players. From what I hear from people in the industry, they would be very quick to point out any suspected corruption. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the sportsbook reported Ridley. More often than not, shenanigans in the betting market work against the books.

That's hearsay. He came right out in an interview and said he wouldn't be the guy to take Harbaugh away from Michigan.
