He's the one that abruptly left after a year and transferred back to California (the state not the school), right? Or am I thinking of someone else?

He transferred in from Oregon, played 1 year, then got drafted and went pro.

He transferred from Oregon to Orange Coast College, played a season, and then transferred to State.

By the way, his coach at Orange Coast (as well as the coach's wife and daughter) were among the folks killed in the helicopter crash that also killed Kobe Bryant and his daughter.
