Todd said that the offenses they played in first half of season were not very good and that is why their stats on defense were so good. I’m sure the Michigan fans listening were pissed.
And then he continued to slobber all over McCarthy for 3 hours.

Yes. Announcers kept saying McCarthy said if TCU ran their usual 3-3-5 defense they were going to run the ball down their throat.

Very happy to see UM lose and hopefully tonight marks the beginning of their decent. But I will give them two compliments. First, many, including me, have said they had good WRs but no great ones. I think both Wilson and Bell are great WRs. Had they played in a pass first offense I think they would have done big things. I am really glad they are both moving on (I think). Second, I must say McCarthy is a better downfield passer than I thought. He played a great game with the exception of three critical plays - two INTs that were very poor throws and the fumble at the goal line, which he never secured the handoff to the RB. UM will lose a lot from the OL and the two WRs mentioned above. But McCarthy and Edwards will be great players.

Harbaugh now 1-6 in bowl games at Michigan.

Clearly, they underestimated TCU. TCU is very well coached and looked fast and physical. They are a good story. I’ll be rooting for them as they will continue to be big underdogs.

If we all tried we couldn’t imagine it ending with a blown snap.

By the AA transfer C of all people.

In his defense, I thought the same thing. Kudos to that bunch of DL and LBs. They played beyond what I thought they were capable.

But but but….. they beat tOSU the last 2 years……

For a fan base and school that believes they’re the cream of the crop (for whatever reason) they sure have a little brother complex.
The real kick to the nads for them will be if Ohio St wins tonight and then beats TCU. That would certainly get their panties in a wad. Although, I don’t wish to see that either.

For me, the bottom line was everytime in the 2nd half when Michigan scored and looked to have all the momentum, TCU answered right back.

I just watched it three times to be sure. You are correct! The lineman (76) lateraled the ball behind the line of scrimmage to Edwards who threw a forward underhand pass. Perfectly legal.
But you cannot advance a fumble on 4th down (unless the fumbling player recovers which didn’t happen). The only thing I’m unclear about that is if the play was technically dead once the lineman recovered the ball or is it considered live and just goes back to the spot of the recovery.

You are correct, sir! The officials should have blown the play dead as soon as #76 recovered it. Thank you for the correction.

FR-80 RULE 7 / SNAPPING AND PASSING THE BALL
Caught or Recovered
ARTICLE 2. a. When a backward pass or fumble is caught or recovered by any
inbounds player, the ball continues in play (A.R. 2-23-1-I).
Exceptions:
1. Rule 8-3-2-d-5 (Team A fumble on the try).
2. On fourth down before a change of team possession, when a Team
A fumble is caught or recovered by a Team A player other than the
fumbler, the ball is dead. If the catch or recovery is beyond the spot of
the fumble, the ball is returned to the spot of the fumble. If the catch
or recovery is behind the spot of the fumble, the ball remains at the
spot of the catch or recovery.

b. When a backward pass or fumble is caught or recovered simultaneously by
opposing players, the ball becomes dead and belongs to the team last in
possession (Exception: Rule 7-2-2-a Exceptions).

Like the Dr. Pepper commercial , Michigan fans will be reliving this game over, and over all winter.
This was a bonecrushing defeat for these bums. There is enough people in Michigan who can subtract 14 from TCU's score to figure out the difference would have been lower than their score.

FYI when I retire, 10% of my retirement funds are going to roadside billboards reminding UM and OSU fans of fun facts like this. I hear many of them can read.

PS if there is interest in forming a formally funded, Road Side Reminder group whose mission it is to ruin the Monday morning drive to work in Ohio and Michigan, I am in.

Happy New Year!!! 86 points, 0-2 Ohio and Michigan. This morning is better than Cheryl Tiegs on the cover of Sports Illustrated

By the way, did you see this um douchebag during um’s failure to win last night? Like um has any room to talk. And to wear it at a playoff game. Douchebag.

Wow, that’s the Oxford English Dictionary definition of douchebag.
