We've done pretty well in the desert. Aside from the '86 Natty....My favorite game was '81 vs. Heisman winner Marcus Allen and USC. You just got the sense that team had good things in their future. Wisznewski was a beast at DT in that game.

That 91 Fiesta was one of the strangest games I ever watched. Outside of about a 7 minute stretch we played like garbage and still won by 4 scores.

‘80 and ‘81 were the Curt Warner show. Long touchdown runs on his first carry of each game, if memory serves.

it was a Christmas Day bowl at first. It became a NYD bowl (when that meant something), I think, when we played USC. And of course the 87 game is still the top rated college game all time.
