I half expected this game to be cancelled after we clinched Sunday and South Carolina clinched a bye in the tournament. Only thing left to play for is #3 vs #4 seed for South Carolina. Which isn't much (just difference between playing #2 MSU or #5 Arkansas in the semifinals next Thursday).I don’t like this game for all the reasons that have already been mentioned

Yeah, now that we clinched the conference a game early, I wish we didn’t play again until the SEC Tournament. That said, South Carolina is ranked 18 in the NCAA RPI, so it’s a good opportunity for us to help solidify our hold on a top four seed.I don’t like this game for all the reasons that have already been mentioned
I know nothing about soccer but Armstrong can teach a masterclass about second half adjustmentsStat of the game last night:
1st half shots - USC - 7, MSU - 4
2nd half shots - MSU - 6, USC - 0.
Stunning is almost an understatement. I checked the SEC soccer record book the other day. SEC record for fewest goals allowed is 8. That goal is well within reach for this team. Looking at SEC stats, 2nd lowest goals allowed this year is Vandy with 10.I looked over the results and stats for the team last night (first time for everything I guess).
It is stunning for a team to play 17 games and have 14 shutouts against a quality schedule. 4 total goals allowed on the season.
What an accomplishment by the players and coaches.
