Pay The Buyout. It's time. Sit down with Franklin and negotiate an exit strategy. Let Franklin go to a middling ACC or Big 12 squad to help rebuild their program. Get someone who understands how to build teams in the trenches. Someone willing to sit an ineffective player, regardless of whether it hurts his draft stock.

The contract is a sunk cost. You pay CJF to coach or not coach.

I’ve defended James, but I now believe he must be replaced. The lack of effort is indefensible. That “Jim Knowles” defense disappeared. Allar played his *** off. The rest of the offense? Meh. There is no fight in James. He shows no fire at all.

I have defended him until now. Maybe he is better suitable to be in admin., not coaching.
Me too and I said it. But just expect some real JA’s saying things like ‘I want an apology’. etc. I despise some of our ‘fans’.
He crossed that line today losing to a team that he hasn’t lost to previously. We already know the big game issues, he could at least defend the fact that everyone else loses to Ohio St too. But today crossed the line.
To be fair to us, if he won a title this year, the Fire Franklin crowd would be scolded forever.

2 weeks in a row team and Coordinators not ready in first half and crunch time. Having 10 in and not 13 inside red zone is mind numbing.
Easier to recruit Penn State than it is Ole Miss.

A huge comedown from contending for the playoffs to being out of the playoffs only 5 games into the season. And losing to a team that was 0-4 and had just fired their entire coaching staff. Inexcusable.
