You must have missed the magic she pulled in the playoffs last season with significant injuries to the roster.

CC is great. But fans are going to continue to be disappointed, as they figure out that CC isn't as good as they thought she was.
And that's to take nothing away from CC. Simply, fans being clueless, as usual. And kids being kids. Kids, goat crowning was never cool. Hopefully that craze ends soon, as it was distasteful from the start.
Not as distasteful as publicly calling for another person's job, though. When was the last time you looked on the internet and saw someone calling for yours?

I didn't watch the game either, but it seems like efforts on the defensive end continue to be bad. Apparently CC was benched when she shouldn't have been. I think it's time for the Fever to hire a defensive coordinator, because this isn't working out. I actually wouldn't be surprised if CC was looking for a new home once her contract is done.

The defensive strategy on Citron was awful, she had like 10 layups lol. If they just backed off that girl a bit and forced jumpshots, they win that game easily. They also refused to foul their bigs when faced with a choice of giving up an easy lay or free throws.
Well that, and if the Fever could actually make a layup or shoot consistently from the free throw line by anyone other than CC22, they be 3-0 right now.

Roster construction is horrible. No one to come off the bench to cover for AB when she’s hurt or needs a break. Overpaid on an ultra short SG that can’t do anything other than score. No starter caliber PF on the team.
Coach, a second one now, that doesn’t understand how to handle a player like CC. You don’t force the square peg into a round hole. You figure out how to cultivate utilize her strengths while hiding her weaknesses as much as possible. Has basically stopped playing pick and role with AB and CC because it is too predictable
Clark is not infallible. But she isn’t being set up for great success..

I watched nearly every football game last year. Admittedly, missed quite a few basketball games. Have never watched a single game of the WNBA, which is why I was curious to know who Stephanie White is and what she has to do with Iowa men’s basketball. Now I know—nothing.

Unless the wheels completely come off this thing or there is some major locker room drama/chemistry issues going on with the players and coaches, I'm more of a "make the move at the end of the season" kind of guy.
