The thing always lurking in the background is the officials giving clemson favorable calls when the game is on the line. I've seen it happen numerous times over the years. They can be the 12th man on the field. One example. WF had them beaten in a game several years ago til a bad pass inference call in the end zone gave clemson a critical 1st down and they went on to score. It was a terrible call. Of course we all remember the pi call against us that stunk to high heaven.
